God, through the work of Christ, brought a new creation into existence from nothing, redefining our lives through His grace. He offers complete renewal to all who come to faith, redefining us through salvation. This is God’s great work—He forgives sin and offers eternal life to anyone who believes in Him as a free gift of His grace. We receive a new identity, redefined through our Lord Jesus. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE REDEFINED? To redefine means to reexamine, reevaluate, rename, or revisit something, changing its nature or boundaries. In Christ, we are given a new identity—a complete transformation of who we are. Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." Many people in this world spend their whole entire lives trying to achieve wealth, so that they can leave an inheritance for their children when they die and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. However, we need to realise that there is more to leaving a legacy than just material things. The world is so dark at the moment, so much going on, we can’t even switch on the TV and watch some good news, something to show us that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s all negative and it doesn't seem to be getting any better, but one thing is for sure, even though the world is the way it is, there is a light and a hope, you can find peace within all the chaos.
