God, through the work of Christ, brought a new creation into existence from nothing, redefining our lives through His grace. He offers complete renewal to all who come to faith, redefining us through salvation. This is God’s great work—He forgives sin and offers eternal life to anyone who believes in Him as a free gift of His grace. We receive a new identity, redefined through our Lord Jesus. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE REDEFINED? To redefine means to reexamine, reevaluate, rename, or revisit something, changing its nature or boundaries. In Christ, we are given a new identity—a complete transformation of who we are.
