Through prayer and self-examination, the Holy Spirit may reveal areas of unresolved pain, past experiences, unforgiveness, and failures that have been hidden or suppressed. This can lead to a journey of healing and freedom from brokenness.
One powerful truth the Holy Spirit teaches during healing is this: although the past cannot be changed, there is the ability to change today in order to build a better future.
Forgiveness is an important part of this process—both forgiving oneself for wrong decisions and forgiving others who may have caused hurt.
Healing is not always easy and often takes time. However, through continued prayer and studying Scripture, clarity can come to the heart. This brings a fresh beginning, renewed hope, and a greater focus on God's calling.
As healing takes place, the sense of distance fades and trust in the Lord grows stronger through every situation. Understanding of God's Word also deepens and matures.
Sometimes God does not answer prayers in the way people expect, and some prayers may seem unanswered. This can contribute to feelings of distance from Him. Yet an important revelation remains: God is a loving Father. He sees everyone, and He hears every prayer.
However, God is not human—He is God. He works according to His perfect will and purpose for each life. Delay is not denial. At times, what is requested may not align with His plan, and in His wisdom, He provides what is best.
These seasons teach believers to depend more deeply on Him and to experience greater peace in their prayer lives. They also learn to recognize the small ways God is working each day. Even when the greatest priorities remain unanswered, God continues to remind His children, "My child, I am here with you."
May we choose to see more of His presence and remain thankful in every circumstance.
Let us hold on to His love and continue building our relationship with our Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, who continually guides us.
Be blessed.
